BEHOLD YOUR GOD MINISTRY, UGANDA, IS REGISTERED with the Ugandan Government as a FOUNDATION.
The general overview of the Ministry in both places is Trust in God as the Provider, and Jesus the Leader.
Edith Kyompire is the Ugandan Leader of the Foundation assisted by her closest friends and confidants, Devine, and Gloria, and the interest of her husband Guy. The connection with Australia is based on a family like working relationship with her Australian Dad and Mum, Neil and Carolyn Valentine.
Here is Edi’s story along with her kids, and our Grand-kids story in her own words.
With God’s blessing we ask as we launch this web-site because we pray that the CARE Work may grow from these HUMBLE beginnings to the benefit of the children of Uganda!

Edith's Story
I grew up as an orphaned child who lived on the streets.
Street life was the most difficult life which I never wish to see any child living.
A life without food, clothes, medical care, shelter, love and family. It is a life that deprives you a chance to know Christ and his love too.
One day I got a chance where one big hearted lady saw me and picked me from the streets, she gave me love, a family and hope for the future. From that I used to go with my new parents to town and I would see the children living on the streets without food , clothing, and sleeping outside, just depending on begging on cars, on the streets and people passing. All I wanted at that moment was to give them my home, clothes, shoes, food, and sometimes cry because of the life that they are going throughout!
But it was more than the physical items that I wanted to give them, it was also the security, love, affection, encouragement, and support my new parents gave me. As a growing child, my parents started to ask me what I would wish to be in the future and I would tell them that I wanted to help needy, vulnerable, abandoned orphaned street children.
I grew up with the passion of helping children which I later started to do when I was 13 yrs. I would go to helping NGOS, churches and approach my local friend pastor's requesting them to help any child that I would have picked, so sometimes some would help and others would direct to other people and NGOS who could give a hand.
In 2015 I got the NGO which helped me to sponsor my education at the university and the same year I picked the girl who was older than me and I introduced her to the director of the same organization that was sponsoring my education. In 2016 and by God's grace she took her in and in 2017 while at the university I found a very young boy on the street of 1 and half year whom I found on the market rubbishes looking for food and I picked him and I took him to my room at the university which wasn't easy for me. From there, I started picking children from the street helping them with my school allowance that the organization would give me and I managed to take them to school and feed them . From there I kept advocating for them on my friends, parents who stood with me and supported them up to now.
So I emailed my parents that God had brought into my life and friends about the needs of the children I had picked up. After a lot of prayer, God brought into my life very big hearted family which accepted to help me to start helping with the children’s education , shelter, medical , meals, and bought land for farming to help generate health food for the children and the care takers. Having that one family support gave me the hopes I needed to start helping other children I come across and through that one same family we now have 3.5 acres of land for farming. We are looking on how to get a big land where we can put up a big building to accommodate all our children, both girls and boys and their care takers.
